If your eyes are dry and irritated, this can have a variety of causes. Dry air, allergies or too long screen times are just a few of many possible factors that can lead to uncomfortable burning, itching or a foreign body feeling of your eyes. This can be very annoying and restricting you in everyday life, but in most cases there is no need to worry. Often, simple home remedies help in dry eyes. There are numerous harmless home remedies that can help in dry eyes. With acutely irritated eyes, you can also combine several.

Cucumber: The popular pumpkin plant is the classic among home remedies in the event of eye problems. Put a cucumber disc on your closed eyes and relax for about 20 minutes. Potatoes: Since potatoes also contain a lot of water, you can use them in the same way as the cucumbers. Use raw potato slices.

- If you wear contact lenses, take the glasses every now and then for a change. Because contact lenses can lead to dry eyes in the long run.
