Charging is about as fast for both devices. At least, as long as you do it wired. The iPhone 16th has no magsafe. You can charge wirelessly, but that is half the slower. You then charge with 7.5 W and not with 15 W like the iPhone 14. You must also determine whether the 16th is well on the charger, because it does not click magnetically. You can imitate that by purchasing a Magsafe case, but that does not charge charging faster. If you charge your iPhone at night, that is no problem.

Other differences

The most important difference is one that unfortunately we have nothing to do with this and that is Apple Intelligence. The iPhone 16th fully supports this, the iPhone 14 does not at all.
