Too bad: this app is no longer available on your Apple Watch

Google immediately deleted an app for your Apple Watch, but at the same time added another app. You need to know this.

This app for your Apple Watch is no longer available

The app for your Apple Watch that Google has removed is the note app Google Keep. This Watchos app has had no significant updates for years. In fact, Google has not even renewed the app icon. Although the app is no longer available, it is probably not automatically removed from your Apple Watch.

The Watchos app Keep was released in 2019 and had no complications or support for the latest platform functions. Nevertheless, the app continued to work and users still gave fast access to notes on their wrist, which was useful for example while shopping. Fortunately, Watchos 26 adds a notes app this fall. Google continues to offer Keep on Wear Os.

Google Agenda (Calendar)

Although Google Keep is no longer available, users of Google Agenda (Calendar) will be happy that Google has just added this app. To use Google Agenda on your Apple Watch, you only have to update the app on your iPhone. The app then appears automatically on your Apple Watch.

Google Agenda for Apple Watch is a simple app that reflects appointments of the current week. The current day and date are on the top right of the picture. Every appointment or task receives its own card with color code, with at the top of time, followed by the name and location. By tapping it, you can view more details.

Agenda Google Watch

It is not possible to create new events or memories from the Watchos app. Google Agenda also offers two complications, starting with ‘what is coming now?’ This is available as a circle or rectangle and shows your next appointment. It is also available as a smart stack-widget. In addition, there is a circular complication ‘Date of today’.

If you do not use the Google Keep and Google Agenda (Calendar) apps on your Apple Watch at all, you can of course simply use the Apple apps notes and agenda.
