Free Spotify has become a lot better: this is different
Spotify Free was always useful when you wanted to listen to music without paying, but the free version of the music service did have a few big limitations. Since today, one of those annoying obstacles has disappeared. And that makes the free version of Spotify suddenly a lot more attractive.
The free variant of Spotify always had the following four disadvantages.
- There is advertising between the songs;
- The sound quality is lower;
- You can only skip a limited number of songs;
- On your phone you can only listen to music in Shuffle mode (random mode).
The latter limitation was quite frustrating if you wanted to listen to a certain number. You then had to play the playlist or the album in which the song was open and then hope that you could skip enough time enough to get the song you want to hear.
Since today, users of the free version of Spotify can finally be a number on demand Listen. That means: you can immediately choose what you want to hear, without having to wait or have to skip songs.
The new update from Spotify is available from today. You must then install the latest version of the app. It is sometimes possible that you have to wait a few more days before the update becomes available for your device.

Do you want better sound quality? And are you tired of advertising? Then you have to take a paid account. You have to pay for that. The prices in the Netherlands of all Spotify subscriptions are as follows:
- Premium individual: € 12.99 per month;
- Premium duo: € 17.99 per month;
- Premium Family: € 21.99 per month.
