Apple released the iPhone 17 series on September 9 and that means that there are also changes in the storage options. You can choose from this.
These are the storage options of the iPhone 17 series
The new iPhones of the 17 series have all received new functions and Apple has also made changes to the storage options of the devices. We list for you what the possibilities are if you are going to purchase such a brand new iPhone.
iPhone 17
If you go for the ‘regular’ iPhone 17, you can choose from these storage options:
- 256 GB
- 512 GB
So you can no longer choose 128 GB, which is still possible with the iPhone 16.
iPhone Air
Although the iPhone Air is thinner than the iPhone 17, you do have the option to opt for more storage space. These are your options:
- 256 GB
- 512 GB
- 1 TB
The storage option of 1 TB was so far reserved for the PRO models. The iPhone Air is the first non-Pro model that this option also has.
iPhone 17 Pro
With the iPhone 17 Pro, something has also changed compared to predecessor iPhone 16 Pro. These are the storage options of the iPhone 17 Pro:
- 256 GB
- 512 GB
- 1 TB
So these are the same storage options as those of the iPhone Air. The iPhone 16 Pro also has the option 128 GB. It therefore dropped out at the iPhone 17 Pro.
iPhone 17 Pro Max
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is the only device where you can opt for 2 TB storage space. These are all options:
- 256 GB
- 512 GB
- 1 TB
- 2 TB
Pastor iPhone 16 Pro Max did not have the option for 2 TB and got stuck at 1 TB. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is therefore also the only model with 4 storage options.
