These features are only supported from the Apple Watch Series 9.

Battery

This could be a reason to switch to the Apple Watch Series 11. On paper, a fully charged series 8 lasts about 18 hours. If you have had it for a few years, then you probably won’t get that battery life anymore. If you buy a series 11 now, you are guaranteed to have a battery life of no less than 24 hours in the coming period.
