Apple recently sent out invitations for the ‘special Apple Experience’, which will take place on March 4, 2026 at 3 PM – this hint is hidden in it.
Hint for the first Apple event of 2026
Apple is known for hiding a hint in event invitations. This time is no different. The image in the invitation shows a 3D Apple logo made up of transparent discs in yellow, green and blue. Those colors probably refer to the colors of a new Apple product
According to Weibo user Instant Digital, the color scheme of the Apple logo in the invitation matches the colors of the new cheap MacBook that is coming. The colors are therefore very likely a hint that this new cheap MacBook will be presented during the upcoming event.

Cheerful colours
In June 2025, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the cheaper MacBook may appear in Silver, Blue, Pink and Yellow. These colors would fit well with the entry-level iPad model. In his last newsletter Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also said that Apple has tested a range of cheerful color options for the upcoming budget MacBook.
Gurman said the colors tested so far are Light Yellow, Light Green, Blue, Pink, Classic Silver and Dark Gray. He added that it is not likely that all of these will come to market. This color palette would easily make the cheap MacBook the most colorful laptop since the iBook G3 in the late 1990s. It then appeared in cheerful colors such as Tangerine, Blueberry, Indigo, Graphite and Key Lime.
The cheap MacBook most likely has a 12.9-inch screen and an aluminum casing. On the inside, we expect an iPhone chip (presumably the A18 Pro) instead of an M-series processor. The sales price will probably be around 800 euros. Don’t want to miss any of it? Then sign up for our newsletter!
