On Tuesday, March 3, Apple announced not only a new MacBook Air and new MacBook Pro, but two other Apple devices.

Apple presents two more products

Two more new Apple products were released on Tuesday, March 3. This concerns two new displays: Studio Display and Studio Display XDR. For both models you can choose from standard glass or glass with nano texture. They can be ordered from Wednesday 4 March and available from Wednesday 11 March.

Studio Display

The new Studio Display is a 27-inch 5K Retina screen with, among other things, a 12-megapixel Center Stage camera including three microphones and six speakers. It also has Thunderbolt 5 connections that you can use for accessories. You can also connect up to four Studio Display models in series.

There are also two USB-C ports for peripherals or charging. With the included Thunderbolt 5 Pro cable you can create a convenient connection hub with 96W of charging power. That’s enough to quickly charge a 14-inch MacBook Pro. The Studio Display with angle-adjustable stand is available from 1699 euros.

Studio Display XDR

The Studio Display XDR is a 27-inch 5K Retina The display is ideally suited for workflows such as HDR video editing and 3D rendering.

The screen’s refresh rate is 120 Hz, which means it also responds very quickly to moving content. Thanks to Adaptive Sync, a refresh rate is also supported that can be continuously varied between 47 and 120 Hz. This makes gaming a lot smoother.

Studio Display XDR also features Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, including a second port for connecting accessories or daisy-chaining other displays. Thanks to two additional USB-C ports, it can also function as a Thunderbolt hub. The monitor is available with a height and angle adjustable stand 3499 euros.
