If you want to watch F1 matches from next weekend, you can choose Viaplay or F1 TV – here’s why Viaplay is the best choice.
Viaplay is now a better choice than F1 TV
It is actually always the case that F1 TV is cheaper than Viaplay. That is still the case, but something fundamental has certainly changed. F1 TV has become a lot more expensive and Viaplay has become cheaper. For an annual subscription you currently pay 142.99 euros at F1 TV and 179 euros at Viaplay. A difference of about 36 euros per year.
You can of course save yourself those 36 euros, but remember that you only need that F1 competitions gets. If you choose Viaplay, you may pay 3 euros more per month, but you also get much more in return. Not only do you get access to F1 TV Pro, you also get a separate F1 stream with Dutch commentary and an exclusive Dutch preview and post-review.

More sports, films and series
In addition to all the F1 content, you get a lot more to watch at Viaplay. Think of Premier League football, the Bundesliga, the French Ligue 1 and the British FA Cup. Darts and DTM racing are also included in the Viaplay subscription.

Unlike F1 TV, Viaplay also gives you access to no fewer than 351 films and series. This includes exclusive Max Verstappen and F1 documentaries, as well as well-known series such as The Good Doctor and MasterChef: The Professionals. In terms of films, you will also find a number of classics, including Taxi Driver and A Few Good Men.
If you choose F1 TV, you save 36 euros per year. The most important things you miss are the Dutch preview and afterthoughts, the Premier League, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and FA Cup, and films and series. Moreover, Viaplay offers two F1 streams simultaneously and F1TV only one.
