Mitsubishi itself has shown an image of the new Outlander. Anyone who wants to exchange their current Outlander for a copy of the new generation soon, we have to disappoint. The new Mitsubishi Outlander is not coming to Europe.
Mitsubishi shows an image showing the new Outlander in a dark room. The shadowy teaser record comes a bit like after-meal mustard. Yesterday Techzle was able to show the first actual photos of the completely new Outlander.
Fortunately, the dark photo confirms that we were right yesterday. The design elements that can be seen on the teaser photo are also on the too early Mitsubishi that showed up yesterday. Thus, not only the front, but also the shape of the rear lights correspond to that of the too prematurely photographed Outlander.
Mitsubishi Outlander
The new Mitsubishi Outlander will be installed on the new CMF CD platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. The Nissan Rogue, which will come to the Netherlands as an X-Trail in due course, is already using that platform. Of course Mitsubishi will again come with a plug-in hybrid variant of the new Outlander. As mentioned, the new Outlander is not coming to Europe. The facelifted Eclipse Cross is the last renewed Mitsubishi to appear at Dutch dealers.
