Tesla has 25,000 fast charging points worldwide

Tesla says it now has 25,000 fast charging stations worldwide. The company reports this on a specially created Twitter account. It is the largest network of fast charging points for electric cars worldwide.

Since the beginning of this year, the Twitter account, called Tesla Charging, keeps track of how many fast charging stations and associated charging points are being added and where. In the past few days, stations were added in the United States, Sweden and China. In the Netherlands there are now more than 30 fast charging locations, with multiple poles. The majority of these can be found in or near the Randstad, in the east and north of the country the spread is still extremely thin.

Earlier this year it expanded at Eemnes and also at Hengelo. Furthermore, fast charging stations will be added in Klazienaveen and near the Afsluitdijk. In October 2020, the Dutch fast charging company Fastned opened the largest fast charging station in Germany together with Tesla.
