Best iOS Games December 2018
Later this month we will pick our favorite iOS games of the year, but a number of top games have also appeared in December. The beloved Gone Home is now playable on iOS, you can get started with the successor to Clash Royale and a new Command & Conquer has been released. What are you going to play?
1. Command & Conquer: Rivals
Rivals isn’t the new Command & Conquer game fans had hoped for. However, let go of that idea and be surprised by a very nice smartphone game. The goal in Rivals is to destroy the opponent’s base in short matches. You do this by occupying the rocket in the center of the map. Can you do that when the timer runs out? Then the missile shoots straight at the opponent.
Of course, that other player tries to do the same, which makes for quite a fight around. You therefore make different soldiers to fight. You have to choose wisely, because each unit has its own advantages and disadvantages. Pots are over quickly, because you only need two rockets to be the winner.
2. Brawl Stars
The new game from the makers of Clash Royale is another one that is difficult to put down. In the game you compete with a team of three against another team in different modes. In the main mode, your goal is to be the first to collect ten diamonds. But be careful, because if you are shot you will lose the entire collection. In addition, there is, among other things, a battle royale mode in which you try to be the last to remain. The game is a lot more fun with friends than with strangers.
3. Gone Home
In Gone Home you come home, but your family is nowhere to be seen. That’s why you investigate. That means looking in every room and every object, looking for clues as to what happened. Gone Home is a beautiful game and one of the first big ‘walking simulators’. That is a somewhat joking term for games in which you mainly have to walk around to discover the story. The game only lasts a few hours, but will probably stick with you for a while after that.
4. Twinfold
Twinfold is a special, but also very nice game. It is difficult to explain the rules briefly, but the bottom line is that you have to keep it up as long as possible in a kind of puzzle roguelike. In these puzzles, the entire playing field moves with you, so your character, your food and the enemies. In addition, you can choose whether to eat the food immediately or have it multiplied for extra experience points. Are you confused? That is completely understandable. But don’t worry, because when you play, the purpose of this fun game quickly becomes clear.
5.7 Billion Humans
Remember the Human Resource Machine, in which you have to use people to solve puzzles? The sequel to this game is now available on the App Store. In 7 Billion Humans you get a lot of new puzzles that you have to solve by programming people. This means that you let the employees know what to do via a block language. New is that in this game you give assignments to a large number of people at the same time.
