The United Kingdom is now fully affected by the corona crisis. This now also leads to a production stop at Aston Martin.
Production strikes continue to rain this week. Last week, the majority of European car production was already inactive, but not everything was locked yet. In the UK, nothing was formally known about Aston Martin’s production facilities. The brand now announces that its factories are being shut down.
The work will be deposited after today, the brand explains. It does this in order to remain in line with the national measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The United Kingdom has since entered a lockdown. People are only allowed to leave the house for essential things and, where necessary, their work. In any case, Aston Martin will keep its factory employees at home until Monday 20 April, but will in the meantime check whether an extension of the production stop is necessary.
