Better tailor YouTube to viewers

YouTube shows the viewer video suggestions to discover new videos. To improve the suggestions, the user can indicate if a recommended video is wrong.

The YouTube home page has video suggestions. YouTube shows videos here that the service thinks the user will find interesting. The video channel does this based on videos previously viewed by the user. However, it often happens that these are not good suggestions. In order to improve this, the user can indicate that he is not interested in the video. That helps YouTube to recommend videos that better suit the user’s needs. However, to do this, the user must be logged in. This allows YouTube to link the information to the account.
