Curious about the specifications of the video card? With GPU-Z from TechPower, you can visualize this data in a detailed way.

gpu z

This is a compact program that wants to use as little system resources as possible. This immediately becomes clear during the ‘installation’: you can choose to install the program, but also to install GPU-Z in the standalone mode, where you can run it directly without installation. The software consists of four tabs. On the first tab – Graphics Card – you’ll see an overview of key features, such as manufacturer name, GPU speeds, and driver information.

on the tab Sensors you can see the main performance indicators of the video card, including the temperature of the GPU and CPU, as well as how much memory is currently in use. You can also save these statistics in a log file.
the tab Advanced displays a drop-down menu with several categories, each of which accesses a sub-area of the video card. For example, you can check here to what extent the video card supports DirectX 12, a requirement of Windows 11.
On each tab you can take a screenshot of the data, for example to share with others.

The program distinguishes itself mainly by the extensive information that you see in the tooltips. In practice this proves to be of great value, because there is a good chance that not all technical chapters speak for themselves. That way you get a good picture of the matter.
