Tip of the veil
Alpine already gives a glimpse of the veil that is currently still spread over the Alpenglow. This concept car will be shown in full regalia at the Paris Motor Show (17 to 23 October) and already hints in which direction the French sports car brand is looking to the future.
The Alpenglow’s fenders, drawn high over the wheels, are a reference to the brand’s long-distance racers, the mystical lights seem to set the entire nose on fire. More details are not visible on the first and as yet only photo of the Alpine Alpenglow. This new concept car will be unveiled on Thursday, October 13 and serves as a preview of all new electric models that Alpine will put into production in the coming years.
There seem to be few external similarities in the Alpenglow with the new electric hatchback that Alpine is expected to build from 2024 on the basis of the new Renault 5. The Alpenglow’s cross-light signature will return on the Alpine GT X-Over, a sporty crossover with sloping roofline, which shares its electric CMF-EV platform with the Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric and Nissan Ariya. The muscular cutout of the fenders may already be a reference to the electric successor to the Alpine A110, which is on the calendar for 2026.
