AirTag in suitcase is now banned – and here’s why it’s nonsense

AirTag is not allowed on the plane? (iPhone News #41)

Due to all the chaos with the suitcases at Schiphol, and many other airports in Europe, travelers wanted to be able to keep an eye on their suitcases to find them again if something went wrong. The AirTag offered a solution: put an AirTag in your suitcase, and you will find it on the map in no time.

Unfortunately, this solution now seems to be banned. Lufthansa takes the lead, and apparently is the first airline to ban putting an AirTag in your checked baggage. The reason? According to Lufthansa, they do not meet the guidelines of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Don’t just get on a roller coaster with the iPhone 14

You better not get on a roller coaster with the iPhone 14 anymore. Due to the speed and abrupt movements, the Crash Detection function may be activated just like that. Fortunately, you can do something about it.

In several American fun areas, Crash Detection of the iPhone 14 is activated during roller coaster rides. Some amusement parks therefore ask you not to take smartphones with you during roller coaster rides or to put your smartphone on airplane mode.
