Ford reloads the EV weapons and fires a very spacious new electric car at autoland. We are introduced to the Ford E-Tourneo Custom, the fully electric passenger car version of the equally electric E-Transit Custom.
The Volkswagen ID Buzz and the EQV from Mercedes-Benz, together with a wide range of space giants from Stellantis, are the ideal electric companions for those who regularly have to travel with more than just a few people. Earlier this year, Ford launched the all-electric E-Transit Custom and now Ford Pro presents its passenger car version: the Ford E-Tourneo Custom.
Ford E-Tourneo Custom
The Ford E-Tourneo Custom can accommodate up to eight passengers and has a 218 hp electric motor. The battery pack has a usable (net) capacity of 74 kWh, sufficient for a range of 370 kilometers. An 11 kW three-phase charger is standard. Fast charging is possible with a charging capacity of 125 kW. The maximum towing weight is 2,000 kilograms. In the electrical giant you will find 2.3 kW sockets with which you should be able to charge various digital devices.
Ford E-Tourneo Custom
Of course, the Ford E-Tourneo Custom has a flexible interior, complete with rail-mounted second and third row seats. In the interior you will find a 13-inch infotainment screen that belongs to the SYNC4 infotainment system, behind the steering wheel is a 12-inch digital instrument panel. Interested in the E-Tourneo Custom? Then you have to be patient. The first Ford E-Tourneo Custom will be delivered in late summer 2023.
