Gurman says that Apple does not plan to update the AirPods Max until the end of 2024. According to the Apple expert, there will not be a brand new version of the headphones, but an updated version of the current version.
For example, the lightning connection will be replaced by USB-C and a few new colors will be available. According to Gurman, Apple does not plan to add an H2 chip to the headphones. Functions such as adaptive audio will therefore not come to the AirPods Max for the time being.
Gurman does say that Apple can always change its mind between now and the end of 2024. But at the moment, Apple does not seem to have that intention and the next version of the AirPods Max (with USB-C) will not have many innovations. bring over.
