At X he announced that Apple will make a series of announcements, starting on Monday morning (US time). This means that we will see the first new Macs in the Netherlands on Monday afternoon.

Apple is no longer organizing an event this year, but is choosing to announce all Macs via press releases. It is not surprising that Apple makes the first major announcement on Monday, because a series of software updates will also be released that day. On Monday, Apple will release iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1 and several other software versions. Now there is also a new Mac.

These Macs will be released next week

Apple is expected to make announcements about three new Macs next week. The iMac 2024, Mac mini 2024 and the MacBook Pro 2024 will then appear. All devices are switching to the M4 chip, which the iPad Pro 2024 already runs on. With the MacBook Pro 2024 we see two new processors, because you can reportedly also choose the M4 Pro and the M4 Max chip for the laptop.

The laptop also has an extra Thunderbolt 4 port and the 14-inch model is available in space black for the first time. Apple’s smallest Mac is getting a major update, because the design of the device is being adjusted. The Mac mini will be much thinner and therefore more similar to the Apple TV. The announcement about the Mac mini is therefore very important for Apple, because the design of the device is being changed for the first time since 2010.
