There is a good chance that Apple will introduce a new iPhone today. According to highly knowledgeable Apple insider Mark Gurman, Apple is releasing a new iPhone model this Tuesday. It is said to be canary yellow in color.
First new iPhone of 2023
It’s that time of year when Apple introduces a fresh color for its latest iPhones. Last year (on March 8), the company came up with green shades for the iPhone 13 Pro (Max) and iPhone 13 (mini). In April 2021, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini were cast in purple.
Today is another day like that, Gurman knows Bloomberg. There will be a new color option for the iPhone 14, which will be announced on the Apple Newsroom website this Tuesday. New iPhone cases and Apple Watch bands may also appear.
Gurman does not report which color will be coming, but the Japanese one MacOtakara wrote earlier this week that it is a bright yellow shade. This rumor was later confirmed by news site 9to5Mac. In any case, the color is available for the cheaper iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. It is doubtful whether the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) will also be cast in yellow. There is already a golden hue, which is very similar to yellow.
Innovations
The new color is the only thing that changes with the new iPhone model. The hardware is therefore exactly the same as with the existing iPhone 14 models. The iPhone 14 (mini) is now available in five versions: blue, purple, black, white and red. The Pro iPhones are available in purple, gold, white and black.
Meanwhile, Apple is already working hard on the iPhone 15 series. Apple will probably announce it in September, during an iPhone event. New is that the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) will probably be equipped with a great zoom camera. The cheaper iPhone 15 (Plus) gets a 48 MP camera and a Dynamic Island, just like the 14 Pro models.
