The poor battery life is partly due to the ultra -thin 5.5 mm design of the iPhone 17 Air, which would make the thinnest iPhone ever. To solve this problem, Apple is planning to release a battery cover as an optional accessory for the iPhone 17 Air.

The report also says that the Apple supply chain is uncertain about the demand for the iPhone 17 Air, because it will be a completely new model with a unique design.
