The Apple Vision Pro is disappointing and many users return the headset to the Apple Store due to complaints. What is going on?
Apple Vision Pro is disappointing: many users return it
The Apple Vision Pro is currently only for sale in America, but many owners are returning the VR/AR glasses to the store. That in itself is not that strange, because at Apple you can return a product within two weeks and then get your money back. Those two weeks are now almost over for the first people who bought the Apple Vision Pro.
Yet many of the Apple Vision Pro owners also have a good reason why they return the headset. One of the most common reasons why they find the headset disappointing is the comfort. Users say that the Apple Vision Pro gives them headaches and even makes them carsick.
The weight of the Apple Vision Pro is also disappointing. They find it particularly annoying that the center of gravity is at the front. There are even stories of someone suffering a burst blood vessel in the eye. Other users indicate that the Apple Vision has too little to offer for the hefty price.
The former owners of the Apple Vision Pro said that they definitely want to try the second version of the glasses. The glasses are certainly popular, but it seems that the Vision Pro does not currently meet the requirements of users.
Apple Vision Pro in short
Apple announced the Apple Vision Pro at WWDC 2023. This is Apple’s first new device since the introduction of the Apple Watch in 2014. The company’s first mixed reality headset runs on the new visionOS. This new OS version was specially developed for the headset and features modified versions of apps such as FaceTime and Photos.
The Apple Vision Pro was released in the United States on February 2, 2024 and retails for a starting price of $3,499. This means that they are not glasses for the general public and the Apple Vision Pro is mainly intended for companies.
