New Apple Watch Pro rumors
Bloomberg’s usually reliable Apple analyst Mark Gurman tells us more about the Apple Watch Pro in his most recent Power On newsletter. At the same time, the Japanese website will also be launched Macotakara also with news about a larger screen for the Apple Watch Pro.

Apple Watch Pro may get bigger screen
The Apple Watch Pro will have a housing of no less than 47 mm. That sounds very small, but when you compare it to the previous Apple Watch, the Series 7, it’s huge. This is in fact available in ‘only’ 41 mm and 45 mm. The larger 47mm case would allow the Apple Watch Pro to get a larger display. Rumor has it that this is a diagonal of 1.99 inches (or 5.05 cm).
In addition to a larger design, the Japanese website also counts on the fact that the display of the Apple Watch Pro will be completely flat. Current Apple Watch models still have a slight curvature at the edges. These flat innovations should ensure that the Apple Watch Pro is robust and durable.
Satellite connection possible with Apple Watch Pro
We’ve been hearing rumors for a long time that Apple is working on the ability to bring satellite communications to the Apple Watch. You could use this to send short messages with the smartwatch. The iPhone 14 is also reportedly getting this feature to make emergency calls if you don’t have ‘normal’ range.
Given that the Apple Watch Pro (or Apple Watch Series X) is aimed at people who practice extreme sports, it only makes sense, Gurman says, that this new smartwatch would also get the option to make satellite calls.
What we expect from the new Apple Watches
If everything we’ve heard so far is correct, Apple will be announcing the iPhone 14, the Apple Watch Series 8, and this Apple Watch Pro on September 7. The name of this keynote, ‘Far Out’, we believe could also refer to the new satellite feature in these devices.
