Apple Watch Series 10

The new Apple Watch is not only larger, but also has a much thinner design. It is only 9.7 mm thin (10 percent thinner than the Series 9). The Apple Watch Series 10 is slightly smaller than the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

The casing is made of an aluminum alloy and comes in the colors Jet Black, Rose Gold and Silver. The back is also metal. There is also a high-gloss titanium version, available in Natural, Gold and Slate. Furthermore, the Apple Watch Series 10 has a new built-in speaker that you can use to play media, among other things.

The screen is made of ion-x glass and the watch has more rounded corners than its predecessor. It’s also a wide-angle OLED display that’s up to 40 percent brighter than the screen on the Series 9. This makes the screen easier to read from different angles and even in bright ambient light. The Apple Watch Series 10 is available in 42mm and 46mm.

Improved water resistance

The Apple Watch Series 10 has better water resistance than its predecessors. The Apple Watch Series 9 is water resistant to 50 meters but is not recommended for activities such as diving.

The new Apple Watch, on the other hand, is suitable for fast-paced water sports up to about 6 meters (20 feet) deep. The Series 10 also has the Depth app from Apple, which until now was exclusive to the Apple Watch Ultra. Unless you’re really going deep-sea diving, you don’t need an Apple Watch Ultra anymore.

apnea

New health features

The new Apple Watch has an updated ECG/heart rate sensor to collect more accurate health data. This sensor works more accurately than the sensor we know from the Apple Watch Series 9.

In addition, there is now sleep apnea detection. Sleep apnea is a condition in which breathing repeatedly interrupts or stops (and starts again) while you sleep. The new Apple Watch can identify sleep apnea based on its sleep tracking feature. You must wear the Apple Watch for a few nights before you can receive a sleep apnea diagnosis. The sleep apnea feature is also coming to the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

s10

New chip and battery

The new Apple Watch has an S10 chip, which is a big improvement. The Series 9 still has an S9 chip, which doesn’t support Apple Intelligence. The S10 chip in the tenth-generation Apple Watch does, which enables all sorts of AI features. You can now also use the Translate app on the Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch Series 10 has a fast charging function, which means that the battery is already 80 percent charged after 30 minutes of charging. With a full battery you can also go ahead for about 18 hours. This makes it a lot easier to wear the Apple Watch ‘always’.

series 10

Dials and straps

Apple also introduced a number of new watch faces with the Series 10. The most special is ‘Reflections’, a watch face that reacts to ambient light. New straps were also presented, including straps designed in collaboration with Nike and Hermès.

Apple Watch Series 10 price and release

The new Apple Watch comes in aluminum in Jet Black, Rose Gold, and Silver, and a high-gloss titanium version in Natural, Gold, and Slate. Both the aluminum and titanium versions are lighter than their predecessors.
