The Apple Watch Series 10 will be released this year and according to previous rumors, the current straps would then become unusable. But is that also true?
Apple Watch Series 10: Will the current bands become unusable?
Several rumors have already surfaced about the Apple Watch Series 10. It was initially thought that Apple was planning a major redesign for this smartwatch, but according to recent rumors that is not the case.
When you see the leaked images of 91mobiles When you look at what the Apple Watch Series 10 or Apple Watch X is showing, a few things stand out. The screen is slightly larger than the current Apple Watch Series 9 and the bezels have become a bit thinner. That is of course a nice bonus, but if you look at the side you can also see that some parts have remained the same.
You can see there that the connection of the straps is unchanged. That means that the straps that you can now use on the Apple smartwatch, can still be used on the Apple Watch Series 10 and that is of course a nice bonus.
The Apple Watch uses a special connection that allows you to slide the straps into the smartwatch on both sides. They then click into place with a kind of push button. You also have to press that button again to release the straps.
It remains to be seen whether the Apple Watch Series X will indeed look like the renders. The new models of the Apple Watch usually appear around the same time as the new iPhones. This will also be sometime in September this year when the iPhone 16 is released.
