In WhatsApp you can easily schedule messages automatically. That way you don’t have to be afraid to forget a message.
Automatically schedule messages for WhatsApp (you do it that way)
Are you afraid that you forget to congratulate someone on their birthday? Or do you simply want to send someone a message at a certain time? WhatsApp does not have an option to send messages automatically. But with this trick it is possible on the iPhone.

You do this with the app assignments that can be found on every iPhone. If you have deleted the app or if the app is not on your iPhone, it can always be downloaded from the App Store.
Schedule messages on WhatsApp automatically
- Open the ‘Assignments’ app on your iPhone;
- Tap at the bottom of the ‘Automatisering’ tab;
- At the top right, tap the plus button or on the blue button ‘New automation’;
- Choose ‘time’ under ‘personal automation’;
- Select the desired time and put a check mark in ‘Immediately carry out’;
- Tap ‘Next’ and tap under ‘Getting started’ on ‘new empty automation’;
- Search for ‘WhatsApp’ in the ‘Search Tasks’ text box and choose ‘WhatsApp’;
- Choose ‘send message’, tap ‘Message’ and adjust the message that you want to send;
- Tap ‘recipients’, select the people you want to send the message and tap ‘Ready’.
WhatsApp then automatically sends the set message at the time you entered. Try to limit the automatic sending of messages via WhatsApp a little. If your friends send an automatic message every day, it will probably soon find annoying or annoying.

Also handy to know: when you have protected WhatsApp with Face ID or Touch ID, you must first switch it off. Otherwise the message will be sent if Face ID or Touch ID has used.
