Brightdrop EV410 is an electric van from GM

Electric commercial vehicles are gaining ground. Not only in Europe, but also in the United States. General Motors is responding to this with its brand new Brightdrop brand, which now has a second electric delivery van ready.

In early 2021, General Motors proposed Brightdrop, which will build electric commercial vehicles. It immediately showed its first electric van, the EV600. That no less than 7.32 meters long electric commercial vehicle with 17 cubic meters of loading space now gets a smaller brother next to it: the Bightdrop EV410.

It follows the concept of its big brother, but has been scaled back slightly in every way, although it is still a good boy. The EV410 is almost 6 meters long and has a cargo hold with a capacity of about 11 cubic meters. According to General Motors, the Brightdrop EV410 is therefore better suited to prove its services in the city. GM says it pumps the EV410 full of safety systems and mentions Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, automatic high beam and a reversing camera. All standard present, claims GM.

The Birghtdrop EV410 is set to come off the production line in 2023 at GM’s CAMI plant in Canada, where it produces the Chevrolet Equinox, among others.
