Apple Car concept: take a look for yourself
The website’s car experts Vanarama have a 3D model made from the Apple Car that you can view in the browser (also on your iPhone). They have taken the official patents of Apple for this to realize the look of the car. The great thing is that you can turn the car 360 degrees and even get in.
When you take a closer look at the car, you can see at each of the blue dots on which patent that part is based. Check, for example, the glass, which consists of one whole. This is based on patent US10384519B1. Have you looked at the car from all sides? Then it is time to get in and you do this via the purple ball. In the car, for example, you see that the dashboard is fully customizable and it consists of one large display.
Apple Car production in 2024
Such a concept of the Apple Car is nice, but when will the car really appear? According to the latest reports, Apple is preparing for the production of Apple Car in 2024. For this, the tech giant has neighborhoods at LG Electronics, SK Group and Toyota.
Already in 2014, Apple started the car project ‘Project Titan’. The development has been slow for years, but now things seem to be moving a bit more. A few years ago it was thought that Apple would mainly focus on software for self-driving cars and CarPlay.
Now that more and more big names (such as Apple CEO John Giannandrea, from Siri, among others) are participating in the project, it is expected that Apple will actually start working on a ‘consumer car’.
