Are you finished with Apple Arcade, or is the game service not what you expected? This way you can cancel Apple Arcade on your iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV.
Canceling Apple Arcade: this is how you do it
With Apple Arcade, you can play more than 100 exclusive games for a fixed amount per month on whichever Apple device you want. Maybe the games are not to your taste, you play less than expected or you find the game service too expensive. Fortunately, it is very easy to cancel Apple Arcade. Simply follow the steps below.
To cancel Apple Arcade on iPhone and iPad:
- Open the App Store and tap your profile icon at the top right of the screen;
- Choose ‘Subscriptions’ and select Apple Arcade;
- Tap ‘Cancel subscription’ or ‘Cancel trial subscription’ and confirm your choice;
- The subscription has now been canceled.

You can keep playing until the start of the next billing period. Do you feel like gaming again after a while? Then you can re-subscribe to Apple Arcade using the above method. You can also take out a subscription via the Arcade tab in the App Store app.

Cancel an Apple Arcade subscription on Mac and Apple TV
An Apple Arcade subscription can also be canceled via the Mac. The steps are roughly the same as for the iPhone and iPad, but there are some differences:
- Open the App Store app and click on your profile icon at the bottom left of the screen;
- Select ‘View information’ and log in to your Apple ID if necessary;
- On the ‘Account Information’ page, scroll to ‘Administration’ and click ‘Administration’. This is to the right of ‘Subscriptions’;
- Right click on the Apple Arcade subscription and choose ‘Edit’;
- Select ‘Cancel subscription’ or ‘Cancel trial subscription’ and confirm your choice.

You can continue until the next billing period, which is indicated in the overview screen with all your subscriptions. Finally, it is also possible to cancel Apple Arcade on an Apple TV:
- Open the Settings app and go to ‘Accounts’;
- Choose ‘Subscriptions’ and select ‘Manage subscriptions’;
- Go to Apple Arcade and choose ‘Cancel subscription’ or ‘Cancel trial subscription’;
- Confirm your choice.
If you have a third generation Apple TV or an older model, it is not possible to manage subscriptions. In that case, you must cancel Apple Arcade via an iOS or macOS device. See the explanation for both devices above.
