Capture button on iPhone 16 gets practical use
We’ve known for a while that the iPhone 16 will get a new button. And later it became known that this button allows you to record videos. More details have now been leaked about the button and what exactly you can do with it.
The rumors indicate that it will be a mechanical button. So you can press this button, but it is also touch sensitive. You can zoom in and out by swiping left or right on the button. By pressing the button gently it is possible to focus the camera on the subject. If you press the button a little harder you start recording.
Apple plans to place the button on the right side of the iPhone. It will then be below the on/off button. When you hold the iPhone horizontally, you can easily reach it with your index finger. If you hold the phone upright, it will be near your thumb.
However, the final design of the iPhone 16 has not yet been determined. So the design of the button and the associated function can of course still change.
