Albert Heijn lets customers choose extra offers on a weekly basis. You can do this via My Bonus app in the AH app.
My Bonus Box
Albert Heijn gives customers the opportunity to choose their own offers. This is possible with the Bonus Box in the app of the supermarket. The digital box contains ten offers every week. The customer may choose five offers. That way he gets offers that help him. These selected offers are then valid until the end of the week.
By indicating more often which offers you want, Albert Heijn can better tailor the following offers to you. These personal offers are extra offers in addition to the regular Bonus offers.
Supplies
To use the Bonus Box you need the Albert Heijn app, an account and a personal bonus card. In addition, it must be set in the account that you want to use personal offers.
create Account
Don’t have an account at Albert Heijn yet? Then first create one via the company’s website. You can find out how to do this in the article ‘Order groceries online at Albert Heijn’ under the heading ‘Create an account’.
When creating an account, you will be asked if you have a bonus card, or if you want to create one. Pick one of the two, but make sure to include a bonus card in any case. You cannot use the Bonus Box without a bonus card. Also make sure that personal offers are activated.
Install app
You can choose personal bonus offers in the Albert Heijn app. In that app you can also do online shopping, use the bonus card and scan in the store. Don’t have the app yet? Then download it first.

Make sure you are logged in with your Albert Heijn account in the app. Isn’t that the case yet and are you opening the app for the first time? Then follow the steps below:
- Open the app Albert Heijn.
- Albert Heijn asks about the cookies. Choose the option you want. We choose I refuse cookies.
- Tap seven times Next one to view the capabilities of the app.
- Tap on login.
- Tap on E-mail address and enter your e-mail address with which you created an account at Albert Heijn.
- Tap on password and type the corresponding password.
- Tap on Login.
Activate my Bonus Box
The first time you go through a few extra steps to activate the Bonus Box.
- Open the app Albert Heijn.
- Tap at the bottom of the screen Bonus.
- Tap on My Bonus Box.
- Tap three times on Next one.
- Tap on Open your Bonus Box.
From now on you can choose new offers every week.
Choose offers
Every week there are ten new offers ready for you to choose from.
- Open the app Albert Heijn.
- Tap at the bottom of the screen Bonus.
- Tap on My Bonus Box.
- Scroll down to view the offers.
- Choose an offer by tapping Activate.
- Do this for up to five offers.
The offers are now linked with the Bonus card. If you use the Bonus card that week at a cash register or with an online order, the discount will be calculated.
