Sporty lined SUV is the first freestanding model from Cupra
Cupra Formentor
Now that Cupra has evolved into an independent brand, it naturally also gets its own models. The Formentor is the first car developed specifically for Cupra.
Cupra presents its first independent model, the Formentor. This model is not a Seat version with less powerful engines on the market. The sporty lined SUV is with a length of 4.45 meters slightly longer than the Ateca.
The Cupra Formentor will be available in the Netherlands in two different engine versions at the end of this year, including a 245 hp plug hybrid. The powertrain consists of a 1.4 TSI engine, an 85 kW strong electric motor and a DSG automatic transmission. The Cupra Formentor can drive completely electrically over a distance of 50 kilometers, thanks to the 13 kWh hour battery pack. Like the Cupra Leon, the top model of the Formentor has a 310 hp 2.0 TSI engine on board. This version is also equipped with four-wheel drive, so that the forces can be efficiently transferred to the asphalt.
The Formentor can be supplied in special colors and, if desired, can be finished with copper-colored accents. We know the dashboard from various Seat models and are dominated by a 12 inch touch screen.
More information and prices are announced by Cupra in the run-up to the market launch.
