The Dacia Sandero is getting a new version, but that is not the only Sandero news we can share with you. The standard equipment of what is perhaps the most down-to-earth car on the Dutch market has also been improved.
As is the case with many Dacia models, the Sandero is also available with many engine versions and in many versions. He is there as Sandero and as the adventurous Sandero Stepway. Both variants are available as Essential and Expression, while the Sandero Stepway is also available as Extreme and Up&Go. In addition, the Dacia Sandero is available with a 92 hp TCe with manual gearbox and CVT and also with a 100 hp TCe Eco-G machine that runs on LPG in addition to petrol. The Sandero Stepway is also available with an LPG engine, but also with a 110 hp 1.0 TCe. The TCe 90 with manual gearbox is not available in the Sandero, but the version with CVT is. So what’s new now? A performance. The Dacia Sandero – and not the Sandero Stepway – is now also available as a Journey.
The Journey version is only available in combination with the 92 hp TCe 90 petrol engine and is available with both a manual gearbox and a CVT. The Journey version is based on the Expression equipment level, but adds a lot. It has a reversing camera, parking beepers at the front, automatic air conditioning, 16-inch alloys and side mirror caps in high-gloss black. A blind spot sensor, a key card, a shark fin antenna and a height-adjustable trunk floor are also part of the Journey party.
More Sandero news concerns the standard equipment of the entry-level vehicle. From the Essential equipment level onwards, the Sandero now has Lane Departure Warning. a rain sensor, Intelligent Speed ​​Assist, an emergency braking system and a fatigue warning system. And that from €17,500.
