Do you have problems with the agenda app on your iPhone? Then you are not the only one, because these problems are caused by a recent update.
Agenda app has problems
Do you regularly use the agenda app on your iPhone? In that case there is a good chance that you have recently suffered from an annoying problem. For many users, the search function no longer works properly in the agenda app. With this option it is possible to search for appointments, events and other activities in the agenda. That is no longer the case, because it is a problem in iOS 26.
Apple released iOS 26 on Monday 15 September. With the update, many changes come to your iPhone, so the operating system gets a new interface and almost all applications are expanded with more functions. Now it appears that with iOS 26 a problem also comes to your iPhone, because the agenda app no longer works properly with many users. Do you notice that the search function at the Agenda app does not show any results? This is due to a software fault in iOS 26.

Search function in iOS 26
Rolling out major updates is usually accompanied by a number of software errors. That is no different with iOS 26, because the agenda app no longer works properly in the latest software version for the iPhone. The application has a search function, with which you can quickly search for certain activities. That is temporarily not possible in iOS 26, because the application does not show any results after entering a search.
It is clear that it is a software error in iOS 26, because the problem plays on different iPhones. There have been complaints from users with an iPhone 13 mini up to and including the new iPhone 17 Pro, the search function of the agenda app no longer works on these devices. This does not apply to all users, the problem seems to occur randomly. Did you install iOS 18.7 instead of iOS 26? Then you will probably not be bothered by the problems with the agenda app.

iOS 26.1 does not (yet) offer a solution
Apple has since responded to the problems with the agenda app on the iPhone. The company is aware of the software fault and is working on a solution. This only comes to your iPhone with a later update, so you can’t use the search function for the time being. The first test version of iOS 26.1 has already been published for developers, but in this update Apple has not yet remedied the problems with the agenda app.
It is expected that Apple will resolve the software fault in a later test version of iOS 26.1. It is a relatively big problem that affects many users. Certainly now that Apple has responded to the software problems, there is a good chance that the solution will not take long. Next month, iOS 26.1 AL will be published, with which major changes will come to your iPhone. Are you curious about what you can expect from the update? Read all about iOS 26.1 here!
