Ducati Monster now also in Iceberg White livery

A sporty block, full of torque and perfect for street use, that is according to Ducati the completely renewed Monster in a nutshell two years ago. A naked sports bike pur sang. A bike for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or chasing elbows down the track every weekend.

Ducati even claims that the Monster retains the DNA of the first generation launched in 1993, which is why it’s once again called simply ‘Monster’, and not Monster 950, or Monster V2, in reference to the engine .

And while the new Monster certainly exudes the spirit of that 1993 model, you shouldn’t take that slogan “preservation of DNA” too literally. Everything Ducati ever stood for has now been dumped by the Italians; road lattice tube frame and road desmodromic valve actuation.

That does not alter the fact that the new Monster is a damn fine bike. Otherwise, check out our test in our own backyard, at the height of the corona pandemic.

For 2024, Ducati has now expanded the Monster color palette with an Iceberg White livery, which has been added to the Ducati Red and Aviator Gray colours. The new livery is also available for the Plus version, which is characterized by the addition of a bikini shield above the headlight and a passenger seat cover.
