The number of electric Chinese models available in the Netherlands continues to grow. AutoWeek can be the first to report the Dutch prices of Nio’s first cars: the ET5, the ET7 and the EL7.

Nio hopes to win the hearts of Dutch consumers with three electric models. The relatively young Chinese brand brings the ET5, ET7 and EL7 to the Netherlands, cars that are initially only offered in our country through a lease construction. Curious about what the cars cost on paper? AutoWeek has got hold of the fiscal prices, so excluding costs for road preparation.

Nio ET5

The Nio ET5 is an electric sedan with which the brand is clearly targeting cars such as the Tesla Model 3. The ET5 is 4.79 meters long, has a wheelbase of 2.89 meters and has two 490 hp electric motors that you can use in 4 seconds to a speed of 100 km/h buzzes. There is nothing to choose from on the engine level, but Nio does offer the ET5 with a 75 kWh battery and a 100 kWh large model. With the 75 kWh battery you can travel 413-453 kilometers, the 100 kWh battery gives the car a range of 536 to 590 kilometers. There is also a 150 kWh version, but it is not (yet) intended for the Dutch market.

Depending on the version chosen, you pay €1,089 to €1,258 per month for the ET5 via a private lease construction. The Nio ET5 with 75 kWh battery has a fiscal price of €62,471. For the Nio ET5 with 100 kWh battery, a fiscal starting price of €75,471 is in the books.

Standard equipment includes 19-inch steel wheels, a panoramic glass roof, a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, a 10.2-inch digital instrumentation, an audio system with no fewer than 23 speakers, semi-autonomous driving technology, two-zone climate control, an induction charger , heat pump, a 360-degree camera and so on.

Nio ET7

And step above the ET5 is the Nio ET7. The Nio ET7 is a 5.1-meter sedan with a wheelbase of 3.06 meters. The ET7 is therefore clearly one size larger than the ET3. The Nio ET7 has two 653 hp and 850 Nm strong electric motors that help the competitor of cars like the Tesla Model S reach a speed of 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Just like the ET5, the ET7 is available with a 75 kWh battery and with a 100 kWh large one. The Nio ET7 with 75 kWh battery comes 385 to 445 kilometers on a full charge, the 100 kWh version kicks it up to a range of 505-580 kilometers.

The private lease rates for the Nio ET7 – depending on the version chosen and the lease construction – are €1,299 to €1,504 per month. The fiscal price of the Nio ET7 with 75 kWh battery is €83,471, the ET7 with 100 kWh has a fiscal starting price of €92,471 behind its name. The standard equipment is at least comparable to that of the ET5.

Nio EL7

The Nio EL7 is for the time being the only SUV that Nio brings to the Netherlands. The EL7 is 4.91 meters long, has a wheelbase of 2.96 meters and, just like the ET7, is still 653 hp and 850 Nm strong. The electric SUV thunders to a speed of 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and, like the ET5 and ET7, it is available with 75 kWh and 100 kWh of electric lung capacity. The Nio EL7 with 75 kWh battery can travel 355 to 400 kilometers on a single charge. The version with 100 kWh comes a lot further with 465-520 kilometers.

The private lease rates for the Nio EL7 – depending on the version chosen and the lease construction – are €1,369 to €1,546 per month. The fiscal price of the Nio EL7 with 75 kWh battery is €87,471, the EL7 with 100 kWh has a fiscal starting price of €96,471. The standard equipment is at least comparable to that of the ET5 and ET7.
