Electric Ford Territory is getting longer

The Ford Mustang Mach-E is by no means the brand’s first electric SUV. For example, a fully electric version of the Territory is also available. That Territory EV is now being improved in an important area!

Ford introduced a fully electric version of the Territory to the world last year. That Territory EV got a 163 hp and 280 Nm strong electric motor on the front axle, a unit that got its zest for life from a 49 kWh battery pack. That package is now being expanded considerably. The Territory EV of the new model year now has a battery pack with a capacity of 60.4 kWh, which is more than 23 percent larger. The range increases to 435 kilometers, according to the not exactly accurate NEDC cycle. Previously, the Territory EV traveled 360 kilometers on one charge.

Furthermore, little changes in the only one-year-old electric SUV. That means that the Territory EV, just like the regular Territory, is not actually a Ford at all. The SUV sold purely in China is nothing more than a Yusheng S330 from the Chinese manufacturer JAC, a car with which Ford has a partnership. The Territory, and its EV version, is 4.58 meters long and has a 2.72 meter wheelbase. The renewed Territory EV is therefore not coming to the Netherlands.
