Audi is expanding the price list for both the A3 Sportback and A3 Limousine. From now on, the base engine of the A3 family is also available with an automatic transmission. Techzle has the prices.
The 110 hp and 200 Nm strong 1.0 TFSI is just like various other models of the Volkswagen Group as the base engine. The three-cylinder is only available in combination with a manual six-speed gearbox in both the A3 Sportback and the A3 Limousine, at least … until now. From now on, the two models with the entry-level engine are also available with Audi’s S-tronic automatic transmission. The A3 Sportback with 1.0 and automatic transmission, just like the manual version, sprints to 100 km / h in 10.6 seconds. The top speed is 204 km / h. The average consumption of the A3s with automatic transmission is 5.1-5.4 l / 100 km, which makes them slightly more economical than the manual versions (5.4-5.7 l / 100 km).
Prices A3 Sportback
The A3 Sportback Pro Line 30 TFSI has a starting price of € 33,880 with manual gearbox, which makes the new equal-motorized version with S tronic automatic transmission with a starting price of € 34,280 at the bottom of the line € 400 more expensive. The A3 Sportback Business Edition with base engine and automatic transmission costs € 34,400, while Audi charges € 38,280 for the S Edition in that configuration.
Prices A3 Limousine
The A3 Limousine also benefits from the new option of connecting the base engine to an automatic transmission. The sedan version of the A3 costs € 34,780 as a Pro Line 30 TFSI with automatic transmission, making it € 500 more expensive than its otherwise identical Sportback brother. For the A3 Limousine Business Edition with 110 hp 1.0 and automatic transmission, Audi charges € 36,280. The S Edition changes ownership in this composition from € 38,780.
