It’s Friday again and that not only means that the working week is almost over, but also that you can pick a new free App of the Week from the App Store. This week it is the turn of the impressive camera app Musemage.
Musemage is completely free this week
If you find the default Camera app on your iPhone too limited, don’t skip Musemage. This app is filled to the brim with filters, lenses, effects and special modes that make your iPhone camera suitable for every situation.
You can choose from a manual or HDR mode. The many filters are also suitable for the video camera. You can simply add these during filming, so you don’t have to shoot a video first to know what a filter will look like. Very handy, especially if you want to put together a nice movie in a few seconds.
Extensive and simple at the same time
The design of Musemage is remarkably simple and fresh, especially when you discover how many possibilities are packed in it. When you activate the camera mode, the various options gather around the shutter button at the bottom of the screen. In the top bar you can choose a portrait mode or a handy stabilization mode. This makes it easier to take a photo that has not moved, but is especially useful when recording videos in which you walk.
Normally, Musemage costs four euros, but as Apple’s free App of the Week you can download it completely free until next Thursday. Every week, Apple selects an app that is put in the limelight. This will be given a prominent position on the Featured page of the App Store.
