Ford Ecosport gets tough Active version

Ford will soon come with a coolly decorated Active version of the Ecosport. The brand has already released a first image of the new Ecosport Active through its social channels.

Ford Europe posts an image on its Twitter page announcing the arrival of a new version for the Ecosport. The compact crossover will soon also be available as Active, the adventurous version that we already know from cars such as the Fiesta, Focus and the no longer available Ka +.

Although Ford does not yet show extensive images of the Ecosport Active, it is immediately clear which treatment the crossover undergoes. The Active package in the Fiesta and Focus includes black plastic finish around the wheel arches, specific Active bumpers with black details and silver skid plates and specific alloy. About 2 centimeters greater ground clearance is also part of the Active ingredients.

The Ecosport is currently available in the Netherlands as Connected, Titanium, ST-Line and ST-Line Black. We are still awaiting a response from the Dutch importer whether the Ecosport Active will also come to our country. Should it come, it will most likely only be available in combination with the 125 hp 1.0 Ecoboost. The 100 hp Ecoboost is reserved for the entry-level version Connected. On November 6, the Ecosport Active will be presented in its entirety.
