Do you want to forward a message from yourself or someone else to someone? That is possible with WhatsApp.
Forward messages?
Forwarding a message is sometimes useful. For example, if you have received a nice photo, or if you want to send the same message to someone else without having to retype the text. You can forward a message with your own text or with someone else’s text.
Forward Text Message (iOS)
- Open WhatsApp.
- Tap the tab chats.
- Tap the conversation that contains the message you want to forward.
- Place your finger on the message you want to forward for a long time.
- In the menu, tap Forward.
- There is a check mark next to the selected message. Tap the other messages you want to forward.
- Tap the curved right arrow icon at the bottom left.
- Tap the name of the person who should receive the message.
- Tap at the bottom Forward.
Forward photo (iOS)
- Tap the tab chats.
- Tap the conversation that contains the photo you want to forward.
- Tap the curved arrow to the right of the photo.
- Tap the recipient’s name.
- Tap on Forward.
Forward Text Message (Android)
- Open the WhatsApp app.
- Tap the tab chats.
- Tap the conversation that contains the message you want to forward.
- Place your finger on the message you want to forward for a long time.
- If a bar appears over the message, the app is selected. Tap the right arrow at the top right.
- Tap the conversation (or conversations) you want to forward the message to.
- Tap the send button at the bottom right.
Forward photo (Android)
- Tap the tab chats.
- Tap the conversation that contains the message you want to forward.
- Tap the arrow to the left of the photo.
- Tap the name of a conversation.
- Tap the send button at the bottom right.
