Are you bored of the proverbial leplazarus while charging your electric car along the highway? Soon no more. At least not if you have a Polestar 2. From now on you can watch the most sensible or nonsensical videos on the infotainment screen in your Polestar.
Polestar is releasing a new over-the-air software update for the Polestar 2. This is the fifteenth update that Polestar is implementing ‘through the air’ and therefore remotely on the Polestar 2. The new update is called P2.9 and brings a YouTube application to the infotainment system of the Polestar 2. You can watch videos to your heart’s content, although the car must be stationary for that. Perfect for while charging.
The P2.9 update also brings an improved version of the Range Assistant app to the electric Polestar 2, which has long allowed drivers to view energy consumption over time. After the update, the Range Assistant should make more accurate range predictions based on current driving style and conditions.
