Genesis has a whole series of newcomers in the pipeline. One of these is a Shooting Brake based on the G70. That car has now entered public in a camouflage suit.
Genesis has refreshed its entire model range in a relatively short time. The G90 was facelifted, the G80 was completely renewed and in the form of the GV80 the brand came up with its first SUV. The last round of renewal concerned the G70. The model underwent a thorough facelift, but the G70 news does not stop there. Genesis comes with a G70 Shooting Brake.
The G70 Shooting Brake will be a fairly unique model, especially on the American market where the premium brand has been active for several years. The G70 is a direct competitor of the BMW 3-series, Mercedes-Benz C-class and Audi A4, among others. Models sold in the United States as a sedan only. The G70 Shooting Brake is basically the station wagon version of the G70, but with a steeply sloping roofline. Do not expect an incredibly spacious pack mule, as the packaging of the G70 Shooting Brake mainly serves an aesthetic purpose. Just like the facelifted G70, the stacked variant will have headlights cut in two parts with horizontal LED strips. The lighting on the back is also split into two parts.
Genesis G70 Shooting Brake
Genesis has recently officially announced its intention to enter the European market. The G70 Shooting Brake could potentially win the hearts of the station wagon loving European consumer. It’s not the only newcomer that Genesis has left. For example, the brand comes with the GV70, an SUV of the BMW X3 format. In addition, Genesis has a fully electric crossover in the development rooms. We are curious!
