Nice auction
It was perhaps the most spectacular car news in ages: the enormous ‘barn find’ in Dordrecht. More than 200 classic cars from one collector were recently discovered there. They will go under the hammer in May. Auction house Classic Car Auctions has now listed the cars to be auctioned.
Just take it: spread over a few locations, more than two hundred classics are found in one fell swoop, all covered in a layer of dust, and you have to identify them all. Everyone recognizes some cars, but what about a Sunbeam 20HP Tickford or a Villard Type 27? There were already a lot of photos with which every enthusiast could start spotting, but now Classic Car Auctions has also shared a list of the objects from the ‘Palmen collection’ to be auctioned.
We have already gone through it with a dust comb and left out some cupboards, mopeds and a riding mower. They are not just spectacular classics, by the way: there are also cars such as a 2006 Opel Movano, a 1996 BMW 3-series and a Fiat Ducato pick-up. If money was no object and you could choose one, which one would you buy? If you really want to try it, you can participate in the auction from May 19 from 5 p.m., which closes in parts.
