A new iOS update is available, which fixes some annoying issues. Version 15.0.2 fixes, among other things, an AirTag bug, which prevented the trackers from appearing in the Find My app.
iOS 15.0.2 now available
The second additional update of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 is available. Apple fixed an issue that prevented CarPlay from working properly. Also, the connection to AirTags did not work properly in the previous iOS version. Apple has also cleaned up a lot of other minor bugs in this update. All iPhones and iPads that support iOS 15 also support iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2. We will tell you step by step how to install the update.
This is how you install iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 safely
It is very simple to get the iPhone and iPad update. Simply follow the steps below to download iOS 15.0.2.
- Make sure your iPhone or iPad battery is at least 50 percent full, or hang it on the charger;
- Go to the Settings app and tap “General”;
- Choose ‘Software Update’ and follow the steps on the screen.
Have you gone through the step-by-step plan? Then you will see iOS 15.0.2 or iPadOS 15.0.2 appear automatically. As you can see in the steps above, downloading and installing a new iOS or iPadOS version is very simple. It will come naturally and it is only important that you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
Make sure your Apple devices are sufficiently charged, or hang them on the charger. We also recommend making a backup of your iPhone/iPad beforehand. If something goes wrong during the update process, you won’t lose any important data.

This is new in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15
With iOS 15, Apple is releasing the major iOS update for 2021. The version introduces the necessary innovations and makes FaceTime a lot better, for example. For example, the quality of video calls will improve and you can now FaceTime with people without an iPhone. The video calling app now also works in the browser and therefore you can also have conversations with Android users.
Also new: Focus. This feature helps you to bundle incoming notifications, so that (not so important) push notifications are not disturbed too often. In addition, iOS 15 implements various privacy improvements and iCloud gets a handy VPN function. Read more? Check the overview with cool iOS 15 functions and also take a look at the iOS 15 preview. In a few days we will publish our detailed review.
iPadOS 15 is a slightly smaller update, but does offer significantly improved widgets. It is now possible to place widgets anywhere on the iPad home screen. FaceTime and Safari will also be overhauled and iPadOS 15 will get the same Focus mode as in iOS 15. The App Library will also come to the iPad, so that all your apps are placed in well-arranged folders.
