iOS 15.7.4: new update for ‘old’ iPhones (and iPads)

If you have an iPhone or iPad that does not support iOS 16.4, you will not be completely left to your own devices. Apple has also released iOS 15.7.4.

iOS 15.7.4 update available

In addition to iOS 16.4, Apple also released iOS 15.7.4 this week. This update is intended for older devices that do not support iOS 16.4. If you have such an older device, download and install the update as soon as possible, because important security holes will be closed.

For example, the older iPhones are vulnerable to a bug in WebKit. That bug allows attackers to run code on an iPhone. Apple acknowledges that this issue may be actively exploited. In any case, the update to iOS 15.7.4 solves the problem. The entire list of vulnerabilities that are fixed by the update is quite long.

iPad updates also available
