The release of iOS 15 wasn’t that long ago, but there are still quite a few users who are experiencing issues. Even after the update to 15.01 there are still issues. Which bugs are still in iOS 15, we tell you here!
iOS 15 issues: these bugs are in the release
Since the update to iOS 15, several iPhone users have had problems. The teething problems vary from a battery that runs out (very) quickly to irritations with specific apps. We’ve rounded up the top issues for you so you know what to look out for and which ones are fixed in the latest iOS 15.0.1 update.
Fixed: iPhone 13 not unlockable with Apple Watch
Some iPhone 13 users see an error message when trying to unlock their device with the Apple Watch. They are greeted with the text ‘Unable to communicate with Apple Watch’. And no matter how many times you try afterwards; it will not work.
Now that iOS 15.0.1 is out, Apple has addressed this issue and the feature is back to normal. Did you have this problem? Immediately update to the new version of iOS.
Fixed: Storage issues
There were several complaints about the iPhone’s storage. Even if there is still enough space, the message keeps coming back. The notification says that the iPhone’s storage is almost full. Deleting files does not help.
One of the other iOS 15 bugs is related to this as well. Some users just see that they have more free space available than their phone actually has. Useful! You may think so, but unfortunately: it is not possible to store more files.
Apple has now also addressed this problem with the update to iOS 15.0.1. The available space is now displayed correctly again.
Probably fixed: some notifications are missing
Some iPhone owners are missing certain notifications. For example, they no longer receive a message with new e-mails or a message from WhatsApp. Often it helps to restart the phone, or update the app (if necessary). But a handful of users continue to experience problems with the notifications.
Battery runs out quickly
With every major update, one annoyance always crops up: problems with the battery or battery life of the iPhone. Also in iOS 15 (and still in iOS 15.0.1), iPhone users complain that their battery is draining quickly. This problem often resolves itself after a while.
Yet there may be more to it. Still having issues with your iPhone’s battery life? Then take a look at the articles below.

iOS 15.0.1: What else is new?
Two weeks after iOS 15, another update has appeared. All iPhones and iPads that support iOS 15 will get the update to iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1. Do you want to know how to install the update? Check out our article iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 now available.
Furthermore, Apple has a fix for Fitness+ where a workout was started unintentionally. However, Fitness+ is not officially available in the Netherlands and Belgium yet, so you probably won’t run into this problem.
