Apple is working on iOS 17.3
A new update is coming for your iPhone. Yesterday, Apple released the third test version of iOS 17.3, which mainly resolved previous problems. When users wanted to install the second beta, several iPhones crashed. This issue seemed to mainly affect users who had the Back Tap feature enabled.

Apple therefore quickly withdrew the second test version, it was no longer possible to install the update. The third beta has already been released, bringing the final version of the new iOS version closer. It is expected that the update will be available to everyone this month. We will tell you when you can probably install iOS 17.3!
This is when iOS 17.3 will appear
In the last two test versions, Apple no longer introduced new features. There is therefore a good chance that we will be able to install the update before February. Last year, iOS 16.3 became available at the end of January, iOS 17.3 is expected to be released around the same time. So we just have to wait a little longer for the final version of iOS 17.3.
Apple is expected to release the update in the week of January 22. Apple usually releases the new software versions on Monday or Tuesday evenings. In 2023, iOS 16.3 was released on Monday, January 23, so it’s quite possible that we’ll see iOS 17.3 on a Monday as well. That means you have the new iOS version on Monday, January 22 at 7:00 PM can install on your iPhone.
New security feature for your iPhone
The most important feature coming to your iPhone with the update is ‘Stolen Device Protection‘, in Dutch ‘Protection for stolen device’. This adds an extra layer of security to your iPhone. If the device is not near known locations, Face ID or Touch ID is required to access certain data. This means that your iPhone with iOS 17.3 is much better protected against thieves.

In addition, in iOS 17.3 you can finally share a playlist on Apple Music with your friends. This shared playlist allows anyone to add new songs, delete them, and change the playing order.
