iOS 18.3.2 causes problems with an app – you need to know this

The iOS 18.3.2 update that Apple released last week seems to cause problems with a certain app. This is going on.

iOS 18.3.2 causes problems with an app

Since March 12, IOS 18.3.2 is available to the general public and the update seems to cause problems with an app. There are several complaints on it Reddit published by users who say that the mail app has problems to push new iCloud e-mails to their iPhones after the iOS 18.3.2 update.

Users who encounter the problem say that the correct settings are enabled. Nevertheless, new iCloud e-mails do not appear in their inbox until they manually renew them. A Reddit user says the following:

“I’m experienced an Issue with iCloud Mail on my iPhone after updating to iOS 18.3.2. New emails are not bee pushed to my device, just though all the correct settings are enabled and it had bone fines diet detghing the mail, BUT REPHESHING’s e -mailshing’s e -mailshing, BUUTHING’s email, Automatically via Push. ”

New e-mails are not pushed to my iPhone, even though I have switched on the correct settings and it worked fine on 18.3.1. If I renew the mail app manually, new e-mails will be picked up, but they will not come in automatically via Push.)

Push and fetch

Push is a function that is available for a number of e-mail services such as iCloud Mail. It is intended to deliver incoming e-mails as soon as they enter, so that users immediately see the new messages. There are also e-mail accounts that use Fetch, which means that the iPhone checks the e-mail server for new e-mails every so often. Given the symptoms, it appears that either Push nor Fetch works for some iCloud mail users.

Push e-mail from other providers such as Microsoft seems to work without any problems, so the problem is limited to iCloud Mail. In the meantime there are also users who have seen the same problem in iOS 18.4. We assume that Apple is now aware of the problems in iOS 18.3.2. It will probably be solved in the next version of iOS.

The release of iOS 18.4 will most likely take place in April. If we look at the past and based on that to the future, we expect the release on Monday April 7 or Tuesday April 8. Whether that is indeed correct, of course remains to be seen. We will keep you up iPhoned In any case, informed!
